Product, content, research

Anagha Venugopal

Product Owner working across product research, writing, content, and marketing communication.

Hello, I'm Anagha. I currently work as a Product Owner for a healthcare SaaS product. My work sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and content.

I conduct product research, gather user feedback and stakeholder input, study competitor and marketing insights, and translate those inputs and requirements into clearer product direction for design, development, marketing, and management teams.

Product

Product thinking and delivery.

My role involves understanding business priorities, speaking with customers, studying workflows, gathering feedback, and translating those inputs into requirements, user journeys, feature concepts, product notes, and clear direction for design, development, and marketing teams.

What I bring to the table

A user-first mindset, comfort leading without authority, a knack for helping teams do their best work, bottleneck-solving, openness to learning new concepts and tools, and a constant interest in better ways for teams to work and collaborate.

Writing

Writing across product and marketing.

SEO-optimized and AEO-aware blogs for healthcare and WooCommerce/WordPress, WooCommerce plugin interface copy, tooltips, setup guidance, newsletters, email campaigns, social posts, carousels, pamphlet copy and Canva-supported campaign collaterals, UX copy, ad copy, video transcripts, and documentation.

How my writing helps

I create content that resonates with users, is backed by research, and communicates ideas with clarity, depth, and zero fluff.

Research

The common thread that links it all.

Competitor analysis, pricing and ICP research, compliance and regulatory standards research, product gaps, user behavior, product features, GTM, and more.

How research backs my work

Attention to detail, spotting gaps that are often overlooked, and being the person who keeps digging for practical ideas to improve the product.

The Journey So Far

To give you a glimpse of my work, the way I think, and the things I keep learning as I go.

Communication and collaboration.

I take inputs from management, interact with customers, understand requirements, and communicate those requirements to the rest of the team. I collaborate with development, design, and marketing teams to help steer the product in a direction that works for the business and for the people using it. I have also used Figma to create rough prototypes and wireframes that make early product ideas easier to discuss.

Keeping users at the centre.

The way I think about product is simple: if something is being built for users, it should be shaped around how they actually think. This user-first mindset has always shaped my writing style and eventually carried into my role as a Product Owner as well.

Writing as a constant.

For someone who comes from a professional background that had very little to do with writing, I discovered my love for words and the joy writing gives me over the years. Writing has played a dominant role in my Product Owner work as well because it is something I am deeply passionate about. Words carry power, and I believe human content can truly connect with people and move them.

A self-taught marketing enthusiast.

When I first switched to a Product Owner role, it was entirely new to me and I had to find my way through a lot of it independently. During this phase, I was drawn to marketing concepts such as SaaS marketing strategy, GTM strategy, content marketing, and marketing tools. I have also worked closely with the marketing team on home page content, email campaigns and automations, page performance reviews, blog ranking, and more.
